it's ok to have a rectangle if you can't complete the square it's ok to go and not go everywhere you can memorize the formula and just use it every time it's ok to choose the simple rhyme cause sometimes you just want to go easy on yourself and sometimes it's not worth the trouble and sometimes it piles higher faster every day and maybe you should throw something away!!!

about

it's my recordings for #novembeat 2023! this is a nanowrimo-esque challenge to record and release a piece of music for every day in november. there are one-word prompts, which are in the song titles (i didn't know about the prompts for day 1).

nominally this was to publicly practice drumming, so my commitment was to have the "main" drum track performed live with no quantization. but some of the prompts led me to tracks without drums.

i stopped after 20 days because i was getting exhausted and it was eating up all my free time... but i learned some things and i think i got some good little pieces out of it!
