i misremembered this prompt as "steady" and so all day i was planning to just do something with a really simple drum beat and other stuff hitting on quarter notes, but for "stable" i decided to change it up a bit and have a (very) little more syncopation in the drums and some synths that just cycle endlessly and never really resolve. it's supposed to be something that kinda feels like it could just go on forever
