oh you know i had to do some fucked up sounds for this one. i thought it would be fun to bring back a previous day and make it more messed up somehow, and my day 1 was kind of generic and didn't fit its prompt (cause i didn't notice there were prompts before i did it) so that was a good candidate.
the "infected version" has a re-recorded (but similar) drum track with all the sounds messed up just a little bit, and then i threw some hazy, ominous synth over the top and committed some reverb crimes.
i let the last synth note fade out naturally even though it takes quite a while. even though this is all just goofing around, bringing back track 1 starts to add an album-y cohesiveness to my novembeat oeuvre and this seems like a decent place for a longer-than-usual between-song break.
